How notifications work
You'll received notifications in up to 3 different ways:
- You'll see a temporary popup appear in the bottom right of the screen which you can select to quickly navigate if you want to.
- An email notification will be sent to your account's email address. This may contain a link to take you to a location in the app depending on the notification.
- A notification will appear in the notification tray.
Notification tray
- The notification tray is located in the upper right corner of the app.
- You will see an unread indicator with a count when you have notifications that haven't been reviewed.
- You can clear all unread notifications by selecting Mark all as read.
- Selecting a notification will take you to the item or page it's referencing if applicable, as well as mark it as read.
Notification Types
As a Learner, Coach, or Admin, here are all the reasons you might get a notification in Loop:
Accreditations
- New comment on program
- Program status changed
Assignments - Learner
- You have a new assignment
- You've been reassigned an assignment
- You've been unassigned from an assignment
- Assignment availability date added
- You assignment won't be available to open until the specified date
- Assignment availability date removed
- The availability date for your assignment has been removed and you can now open it
- Assignment availability date changed
- The date you can open your assignment has changed
- Assignment due date changed
- Assignment due date added
- Assignment due date removed
- Assignment reviewed
- A coach or admin has reviewed your assignment
Assignment - Coach
- Assignment completed
- My learner has completed their assignment
- Assignment ready for review
- My learner has completed their assignment and it requires a review
- Assignment mass creation failure
- I mass assigned content but the process failed
Certificates - Coach & Admin
- Criteria review
- A certification criteria requires my review before it can be completed
- Criteria attempt review
- A certification criteria attempt requires my review before it can be completed
Certificates - Learner
- Certificate generated
- Certification awarded
- Certificate generating
- Certification criteria approved
- Certification criteria attempt reviewed
- My attempt has been reviewed by a coach or admin
Sharing
- Content shared
- Content was shared with me
- Scenario response shared
- A scenario response was shared with me
- Folder shared
- A folder was shared with me
Licenses - Learner & Coach
- License expired
- No licenses entered
Report
- Report data available
- Report generating
- Report failure
- The report I attempted to download has failed
Digests
- Content expiration digest
- A recurring email including a list of all content with upcoming expirations. Sent out bi-weekly on Mondays at 9:00AM EST to all content owners with content expiring within 90 days.
- Coach digest
- A recurring email including a list of all Assignments with upcoming due dates for all Learners, as well as any items that need review. Sent out weekly on Mondays at 9:00 a.m. EST to all Coaches.
- Assignment digest
- A recurring email including a list of all Assignments with upcoming due dates. Sent out weekly on Mondays at 9:00 a.m. EST to all learners with Assignments due within 14 days.
Reminders
- You have been assigned
- Assignment past due date
- Assignment has an upcoming due date
Other
- Badge awarded
- Announcement published
- Content registration failure
- Content I updated has failed to process and cannot be viewed by learners
