Owners

Announcements, Collections, Content Items, Content Banners, and Folders, has an Owner. The Owner is either the person who created the content, or a person who has been assigned by the creator to manage the content.

The owner can either be the person who created the content or someone who has been assigned to manage the content by the creator.

As the owner of content, you have the ability to view and edit any items that you own, even if you don't have explicit group access.  Deleting Content and Folders is only allowed for Super Admins and owners.

When you create an item, you will automatically become the owner of that content. If you need to transfer ownership, you can do so while creating or editing the content.
