It's been a busy month with a large release and new features being kicked off! In this article you can read up on what we've recently released as well as what's currently in development.
What's been shipped
We'll cover the recent updates at a high level but if you'd like a deeper dive on any of these, check out the release notes for 14.14.00.
There's a new Notifications tab within the admin Settings tab.

1. Assignment Due Date Reminders
The Assignments tab provides you with options to allow admins and/or coaches to add in-app and email due date reminders when assigning content. These reminders are specific to the assignment so each can be configured to have different reminder timeframes. For example, when assigning a short lesson, an admin can choose to send a due date reminder 1 week before it's due. For something that may take longer to complete, like a learning path, a reminder can be sent 3 weeks in advance, and again at 1 week from the due date. It's configurable, so if you'd like to refrain from emails being sent, you have the option as well.
2. Assignment email digest
Within the Assignments tab there's also an Email digest option. If the digest is enabled, learners will receive an email each Monday. The email contains outstanding assignments that are due within the next 14 days. Those nearest to the due date are listed first. Overdue assignments are also included.
Note: At this time users do not have the option to opt-out of those emails.

3. Content owner expiration digest
The Content tab contains an email digest option as well. If enabled, content owners will receive a bi-weekly email of content expiring in the next 90 days.
Note: Email does not contain content that has expired
4. Certification enhancements
Certifications have gotten a boost (with more on the way!). Criteria can now be sorted and gated (similar to lessons). Criteria can also be configured to be auto-assigned once the predecessor criteria has been completed. If a criteria review and approval is required for the predecessor, the auto-assign action will not take place until the approval is completed. Also, reviews now have a Reject option to allow for in-app feedback to be provided when a learner needs to complete a criteria attempt once more.
What we're working on now
Rubrics
Rubrics will be available in certifications to create a more robust review process when a learner completes a criteria attempt. The rubric can be used as a reference guide for the learner and reviewer. It can also directly impact the approval or rejection of a submission by associating scoring with the review.
Events
Admins will have access to add events in Loop, providing learners a single location for ease of tracking. You will be able to add an event name, description, date, location, and more. Visibility into events will be group driven so each learner may have a different list. Upon the completion of the new dashboard updates (see below) there will be an events widget on the learner's landing page.
App responsiveness
We're headed down the home stretch of making the learner and coach experiences fully responsive, meaning the pages scale cleanly no matter the device size. Updated tables are being implemented as well as new content viewers. Once completed, we'll focus on flipping the mobile experience to mirror web so they are consistent no matter what type of device you are using.
Dashboard enhancements
Part of the work required for mobile to mirror web is ensuring the dashboard works for both large and small screens. We've received feedback from a lot of you about the path of the new dynamic dashboard (which is widget driven) and we're going after some of those requests to help build out the experience. Individual collections will be available again. Announcements will be more visually prominent as well as allow text formatting and hyperlinks. There's more to come on this front!
